What a great invention Instagram turned out to be. A place where everyone can show how talented they are with a nice camera in hand. This is exactly the case with young photographer Jason Peterson who is using the social media platform (and exceptionally good if I may add) to share some of his amazing work in capturing a variety of incredible landscapes in black and white.

“Follow me into the dark” is the newest selection of high-contrast black and white photos made by Jason. Capturing some of the great and glorious monuments and landmarks of the giant American cities like Chicago and New York as well as some smaller but meaningful moments like waiting for the subway on a beautiful evening in New York and tasty looking ice cream cone melting in the heat of the summer, this interesting artist shows a very dynamic and high contrast style. Along with all that there is the black and white that seems to describe and capture precisely the vibe and the majesty of the city.

One thing is for sure, Peterson is great up and coming artist that has a bright future ahead of him and following this artist will definitely give you some classy and intense material for the morning coffee every day.
