Tiago Hoisel is a Portugese digital artist famous for his amazingly creative collection of humorous cartoon characters made in Photoshop. The innovative approach, attention to details along with blending humor and realism is what makes his caricatures standout. Truly, they are expressive and amusing.
Tiago Hoisel was born in 1984 in Salvador - the Capital of Bahia, but his parents chose to raise him in the small town of Ilhéus. Graduated Graphic Design from Universidade do Estado da Bahia, he specializes Art Direction, Illustration and Lightening.
Caricature painting is undoubtedly not an easy thing to do. Devil is in the details, as the saying goes. In other words, when creating a caricature, it is always the small things that matter the most. Evidently, Tiago know the ropes which is admirable considering he has never studied any techniques in books. His creations are pure product of his experience and self-development. Ideas usually come from his own perceptions and artistic sense and he just lets them out in such amazing expressive way.
Tiago is currently based in Sao Paulo, Brazil running an illustration studio called Techno Image. His partners are three immensely talented artists whose talents has received great recognition in the world of digital art - Lucas Leibholz, Pedro Conti and Diego Maia.
