The Philippines are not famous only because of their beaches, the Chocolate Hills are one of their number one attractions. On the small island of Bohol across 50 square kilometers are spread out about 1 500 hills. They are either dome or cone shaped and very symmetrical, covered with green grass. What makes them chocolate is the brown color they take during the dry season, when the vegetation dries out. This is exactly the time you should visit the Philippines anyway, unless you want to be greeted by typhoons.
