The Crooked Forest in Poland is one of the creepiest places you can visit. The 400 pines inside are crooked at about 90 degrees. The trees were planted in 1930 when the place was called Pomerania, Germany. Scientists are still unsure how the trees came to be so spectacularly deformed, while being so similar to each other. Perhaps a certain tool was used, but nothing definitive can be proven. Some people even believe the forest is supernatural, or at least part of some bizarre ritual(all threes point towards the north). Most likely whoever did this is dead now.
