There is no other feeling in the world like boarding a cruise ship for an exciting sea adventure. It doesn’t matter if it is a giant ocean cruise or just a small river one, the feeling (at least for me) of getting into the open sea and feeling that near sea breeze is an amazing thrill and one of the best ways to relax. But this, this is something else entirely. The Aria Amazon river cruise ship is the absolutely undisputed champion of all cruise ships around the globe. Created by the exceptionally good Peruvian architect Jordi Puig, this ship is without a doubt taking the next step in luxury, comfort and surprisingly enough – it is very ecologically friendly. I know, ecologically friendly is not the first thing that comes to mind when you hear cruise ship but Aqua Expedition travel company are giving their best to try and change that from now on, starting with The Aria Amazon. The magnificently gorgeous ship has 16 cabins with gigantic windows, a classy bar, lounge, a Jacuzzi, restaurant, full air conditioning and a whole gym and of course an observation deck in order to observe peacefully some of the most magical places on earth without the need to even set foot there. The luxury boat was built using only the best materials you can find in the world. But luxury is not the main goal of the creative Peruvians behind this marvelous project their optimal goal is to preserve the natural beauty of the lands their boat is showing to the people. For this purpose the ship has built into it some highly fuel-efficient engines with the goal to limit the CO2 emissions as much as possible and the marine generators are embraced by capsules in order to minimize the levels of noise and vibration. On top of all that all water that has to be thrown back into the river is absolutely 100% clean, as it undergoes certain treatment onboard before discharging. All the rest of the garbage is recycled as soon as they disembark. The folks over at Aqua Expedition have embarked on a very worthy mission to stimulate tourism at those particular parts of the world, while at the same time preserving the great river and the beautiful nature surrounding it which deserves our upmost admiration. Overall, the Aria Amazon is an incredible ship that has outstandingly blended the luxurious and stunning design with the much needed conservation of the ecosystem.
