Who is Ramon Bruin? He is a 33 years old, talented freelance artist, who graduated at the Airbrush Academy in Netherlands. He draws paintings and incredible 3D pencil drawings and has a lot of experience with materials like acrylic, oil and water paints, charcoal, paint pens and graphite.
He likes pushing his own boundaries and the out of the box thinking. But Ramon’s biggest passion is 3D optical illusion pencil drawings. Ramon is mostly self-thought and impressively versatile. Due to his more than 9 years of experience with the airbrush, he established his own company JJK Airbrush. JJK Airbrush Academy was established in 2010 and it is specialized in all-around airbrush design.
“Making the anaphoric illustrations is a real challenge” – Ramon said. His mission is to make sure that not only the drawing looked 3D but also the pictures of the illustrations looked 3D as well. Ramon also said, “I also experiment with light and with the correct light it appeared the drawing came off the paper”.
