Balloon animals are an amazing fun unless of course you accidently pop them and make your child cry. Pretty much like real animals and pets that give you an enormous joy and are your best friends…until they do the number two inside the house and make you want to start crying. The amazingly talented Sarah DeRemer has found the perfect balance in her art, combining balloon animals with digital pictures of them and giving us the good sides of both real and balloon animals without the whole popping and pooping issue. She makes incredibly cute surreal pictures of all kinds of animals, like, giraffes, crabs, hippos, turtles, horses, dogs and many, many more. That way she gives her balloon made zoo character and faces and it looks like she brings them to life almost.
All of her animals are absolutely the cutest thing you have seen a while and yet classy and sophisticated. These incredibly innovative hybrids of hers are beyond thoughtful and masterfully done and you can see this clearly from examples like the way she accurately made the light reflect on their faces as though it hits an actual balloon animal. Sarah’s effort and care to detail are admirable and her work is full of life and aesthetic art. You should definitely check her out!
