Who is John Poppleton? He is an innovative photographer and artist. He creates out of this world photography of a body-painted models.
He grew up in his family house in the suburbs of Sacramento, California. John was introduced to photography during his junior years of high school in the late 80's. He turned his passion and hobby into a profession after several of his friends asked him to photograph their weddings.
He became quite popular after the release of his “Black Light Photography” series of a beautiful woman painted with scenes from the natural environment. The paint is actually a special fluorescent pigment on the back and sometimes on the front of the body of the female models. Next, the women are photographed under a special black light that reviews these incredible visuals images.
This outstanding photography technique combines the beauty of the female forms with the magnificence of the Mother Nature.
John got his inspiration for the black light photography after an insomnious night in a hotel room back in 2010. Since then he has been developing this brilliant idea and kept on producing extraordinary photography.
