If you think this the façade of this hotel looks great, just wait until you see what’s inside. Surprising or not, the hotel isn’t named after the famous pop-singer Madonna but after the businessman Alex Madonna – the man who has built it.
Madonna Inn first opened its doors on Christmas Eve in 1958. Unluckily, just a few years after the opening a major fire destroyed 12 of the guestrooms. Fortunately, nobody was hurt in the fire. However, this unfortunate event did stop Alex Madonna to pursuit his dream and he rebuilt the hotel once again.
Mr. Madonna died on April 2004 at the age of 85. Today, his wonderful creation is still here. Madonna Inn has 110 whimsical rooms each of them has a different decoration and colors. There is also a luxurious spa, horseback riding, terrace pool and bar and two award-winning dining facilities.
The Madonna Inn has 2 dining and 2 nightlife areas. However, the Golden Rush Steak Bar was Alex Madonna’s favorite place. He loved dining in his favorite gold-pink booth and walking around the restaurant to talk with the customers.
You can sense the note of romance in every room. Just take a look at the Anniversary room.
If you are wondering where to spend your Honeymoon, look no further. Honey rooms in Madonna Inn are the perfect choice.
The Tall & Short room is specially designed for couples with significant height differences.
Did you get tired of all that pink? Then try the Bridal Falls, a calming room in emerald colors.
The Merry Room will add some more hearty sprinkling glitter on the pink interior.
If you, for some reason, want to feel like Alice in Wonderland, then check the Old Mill Room.
The American Home Room makes a rather weird prediction about the United States future. I guess Mr. Madonna predicted the Flintstones return.
Another Flintstones Family-themed room with a dark humor name – The Rock Bottom.
For the older folks who want to feel the spirit of the 50s, there is the Fabulous Fifties room.
The western-themed Pick and Shovel room is one of the largest in Madonna Inn.
The Just Heaven room has its own stairway to heaven.
You can always have a drink at the fabulous pink Lobby Bar.
Yes, that’s right this is a Waterfall urinal.
