Co-Stars Who Hated Each Other

Let us find out who are the most famous TV and movie stars who share mutual distaste. - 8 years ago by

Only good acting associated with persuasive performance can make us believe things that in terms of reality may never come true. Most people can hardly imagine that their favorite stars who demonstrate the perfect on-screen love or friendship can stand each other in real life.

Let us find out who are the most famous TV and movie stars who share mutual distaste.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattral

Apparently, things off-screen did not go very smoothly between the leading actresses of the famous TV drama Sex and the City. Sadly, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattral's on-screen friendship did not reflect on their real life relations. Cattral has build herself an image of an person who is difficult to work with so you could only imagine how much tension have been between the four co-stars on the set. Cattral considered herself a very big TV star and for that she demanded more money. She gave really hard time on the directors after finding out that Parker’s amount paid was larger than hers. However, despite the negative feelings and jealousy they all managed to overcome the differences and do their jobs portraying a true on-screen friendship.

Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep

Rumour has it that there was much tension between Hoffman and Streep on the set of the Academy Award winning movie 'Kramer vs. Kramer'. The film tells the story if a married couple who is going through a bitter and difficult divorce. Hoffman is reckoned a difficult person to work with and the case with filming 'Kramer vs. Kramer' makes no exception to that rule. The word on the streets is that at the time Hoffman has not been in a very good shape. In fact, back then he was going through a tough breakup with his wife and was heavily using drugs. He also developed a strong hate towards on-screen partner Meryl Streep. Luckily for her, she was unwitting of his feelings long time after the final cut.

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson

Can you believe that the stars of 50 Shades of Grey cannot stand one another? Well, the proof is in the pudding. Experts,  analyzing multiple times the body language of the two, suggesting  barely controlled boredom, came to the conclusion that they not only dislike each other, they can't even stand the sight of one another. As the rumors flew, Dornan was not exactly grinned from ear to ear over the fact that he was going to play with Dakota. Nevertheless, the important thing is that in "the red room of pain" they looked so hot and passionate for each other that make us all believe that the chemistry reflects on their relation in the real life. To be honest, it sounds kind of weird that after all the intimacy on-screen, these two have no soft feelings for each other.

Terry Hatcher and the rest of the Desperate Housewives stars

They might have been true on-screen friends, but once the cameras went off Terry and the other stars turn distant and estranged. There were rumours of conflicts and strife, relating to Terry, in particular. Perhaps she considered herself a massive star and that is where the cold attitude towards her co-stars came from. For sure, there are a lot more untold stories from behind the scene of Desperate Housewives. One thing that appears to be true is that Terry is the one who couldn’t go so well with most of the cast. Eva Longoria describes her as “a loner” in an interview for a famous magazine. Another thing that fans failed to miss was that Terry was never on the photos the others used to post on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, which suggests that the fellow housewives were not on very good terms with her.

Shia Labeouf and Tom Hardy

These two amazingly talented actors got into a fight during the set of Nick Cave's moving drama Lawless. Set in the Depression-era Franklin the film tells the story of three bootlegging brothers (Hardy and Labeouf ) who enforce their own law in order to protect their moonshine business. In the movie Hardy and Labeouf are ready to sacrifice their lives for one another, however, off-screen relation between the two appear to be quite different. In a recent interview in the May edition of British Esquire Tom Hardy has admitted that he is not easy to work with. Moreover, there are rumors going around of a clash between the British actor and his co-star Charlize Theron. It seems that the two are not getting along on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road.

Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes

DiCaprio and Danes met on the set of Baz Luhrmann’s modern Shakespeare adaptation Romeo+Juliet in 1995. They looked so cute together and melted our hearts with the profound love story. However, turns out that the two co-stars didn't feel the way their characters did. According to an interview with Danes for the British Vogue, the actors barely speak to one another for very long periods. Danes often felt affected by Di Caprio's cruel and dirty jokes. Because of his cynical behavior, she called him "immature". Given that DiCaprio was only 22 and Danes 18 at that time maybe he was immature, maybe they both were, who knows. However, despite the differences, they both made great performances showing some true talent and valuable acting skills.
