Art In Cheetos Cheese Curls
American Andy Hout has a very strange hobby. He is looking for artistic shapes in his bags of Cheetos Cheese Curls. It all started when one day he decided to have a snack, but found that some pieces of the corn were human shaped. This is when the passion began. He started posting them on Instragram and amassed a huge following, measuring in the tens of thousands people. Nowadays he is spending his free time looking for more interesting shapes to photograph and post online for his fans.
A Soap Made Out Of Body Fat And Love
A Miami man, named Orestes de la Paz, underwent liposuction in December, 2012. Being a hairstylist and make-up artist he knew full well that people nowadays will buy anything that'll make them look and feel beautiful, even if it contains human parts. So he decided to put his fat into action instead of letting it go rancid. He made 20 bars of soap, each bar contained 25% of his body fat and cost about one thousand dollars. Now this is what I call a good usage of the things you don't need, especially considering the soap's properties and how it makes the skin of the hands very soft after washing.
Self Portraits With Dead Animal Corpses
It seems like for Julie Heffernan it is a challenge to mix up all types of styles into her art. And she takes it proudly. Her self-portrait series in 2007, called Booty, picture her dressed up in dead animal carcasses, flowers and fruits. It is a stark contrast and can leave the viewer wondering whether they should feel intrigued or repulsed. The sheer scope of the pictures is pretty amazing too, we are talking about dozens of dead animals covering a woman's body. In style of course.
The Blood Art
You gotta respect a guy, who uses his own blood to create pieces of art. This is what Australian tattoo artist Dr. Rev Mayers has been doing for some time already. He decided to use his own blood to depict some very complicated scenes with a trademark crimson color. The art pieces itself are astonishing and make you wonder just how much blood was spent drawing them and how many days Dr. Rev had to let the red stuff flow. Being Dr. and all he shouldn't be in any trouble of dying for his art though.
The Man Who Draws With His Tongue
Indian Ani K was fascinated by people, who used their body parts to create beautiful pictures. He decided to give it a try, first by using his nose as a brush. It didn't work because somebody was already doing it, so he started licking paint and transferring it onto the canvas. Surprisingly, the art he produced was very good and he became famous for it. What will happen to his tongue and mouth in the future because of this practice is unknown though.
The Non-visible Artwork
So there is a museum it seems, which presents......blank paintings. Really, not even abstract ones, or weird ones, or just a bucket of paint splashed on top of a white sheet, oh no, only pure blank whiteness. What is the point you ask? Well, there are small descriptions in front of the pieces. You read them and start to imagine what is there on the canvas. It is....weird, but some people really dig it. One woman even bought such a masterpiece for 10 000 dollars. Here is the description she got for her painting, called "Fresh Air":
" A unique piece, only this one is for sale. The air you are purchasing is like buying an endless tank of oxygen. No matter where you are, you always have the ability to take a breath of the most delicious, clean-smelling air that the earth can produce. Every breath you take gives you endless peace and health. This artwork is something to carry with you if you own it. Because wherever you are, you can imagine yourself getting the most beautiful taste of air that is from the mountain tops or fields or from the ocean side; it is an endless supply."
It'll be wonderful if it actually works. I hope it works.
The Vomit Painters
Everything can be called art nowadays, as long as some weirdo sees it this way and is willing to pay for it. Well, naturally to make their works as strange, unique and eccentric as possible various artists use some very unorthodox methods to create their masterpieces. Millie Brown, for example, is one of the more famous vomit painters. She has mastered the art of regurgitating colored milk and puking it on top of white canvas, or anything really. And of course as you might have guessed she earns thousands of dollars for her heroic efforts.
